Exhibition: ITMA Barcelona 2019

June 30, 2019 – Together with Oerlikon Textile, our parent company, BB Engineering was present at the ITMA in Barcelona in June. ITMA is the leading trade fair for the international textile industry and is therefore an important opportunity for BBE as a component and plant manufacturer for the synthetic fiber industry for product presentation and customer interaction.

At the impressive Oerlikon Textile booth, no less than four world premieres were celebrated, including BBE’s recycling series VacuFil® – a solution for the Zero Waste philosophy. Decades of experience from the fields of extrusion, filtration and spinning were bundled in a novel and innovative core component, the vacuum filter. It combines gentle large-area filtration and controlled IV build-up for consistently excellent melt quality. The vacuum applied to the filter reliably and quickly removes volatile contaminants (spinning oil or similar). The good degassing performance also relieves the energy-intensive pre-drying process. Thanks to the modular design of the VacuFil® series, numerous process control options are available. Whether as a stand-alone solution with subsequent pelletizing or as an in-line variant with 3DD additive feed – different system configurations allow optimum response to customer needs.

Visitors and customers showed great interest in VacuFil® and other BBE products throughout all days of the trade show.
