Data privacy policy of the website

You can use our online services without disclosing your identity. If we request personal data (such as name, address or e-mail address) on the website, e.g. in the context of contact forms or during login/registration, this is provided on a voluntary basis. More detailed information on the individual functions on our website can be found in the data privacy declaration below.

The data marked as mandatory is required in order to assign and answer the enquiry, which is processed for the period of processing the enquiry as part of our legitimate interest in providing the best possible customer service. Further data can be provided voluntarily. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is based on your freely granted consent.

The personal data collected by us for use of the contact form are deleted after your enquiry has been dealt with and after the expiry of the obligatory periods of retention in order to comply with tax and business legislation.

You can revoke consent already granted at any time without giving reasons and with future effect. You can use the contact form above.

Forwarding of the data
Forwarding to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes is not done without your express consent. We only forward your personal data to third parties if this is legally admissible and/or required. In some cases, we use service providers for order processing, e.g. the website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany (hereinafter IONOS) and maintained by pechschwarz GmbH, Max-Planck-Straße 19, 42277 Wuppertal. The data mentioned above will be processed by us on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest for the following purposes:

We reserve the right to subsequently review this data if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use. The data will be deleted immediately if it is no longer required to achieve the purpose, but no later than six months after collection.

Use of cookies and services

Cookies, plug-ins and third-party providers
This site uses “Cookies”. Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer and that enable analysis of the use of the website and automatically recognise you on your next visit. You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting the cookie banner or your browser accordingly. You also have the option of revoking your consent at any time in the cookie banner or the cookie settings. This may mean that you cannot make full use of all offers.

On our website, we use various plug-ins from other service providers, which we would like to inform you about below.

Google Tag Manager
The operator of this website uses the Google Tag Manager of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland). A tag is a JavaScript snippet that is used to send information to third parties, such as Google. The Google Tag Manager is a tool that websites can use to manage marketing tags over the Google Tag Manager interface. The Google Tag Manager manages tags from Google (e.g. the Google Analytics tag) but also supports tags from third parties. The Google Tag Manager software solution itself, which implements the tags, is a cookie-free domain. The Google Tag Manager triggers other tags which, in turn, may also collect data. The Google Tag Manager does not access this collected data, but instead passes the data via the tag to the respective provider of the tag used (Google Ireland Limited for Google Analytics, Leadinfo B.V. for B2B lead identification, Usercentrics GmbH for Consent Management).

Information on how to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data by the respective tags can be found in the section of the respective tag listed in this data privacy declaration.

Web analytics mit Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google”), provided you have granted your consent. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website (including your shortened IP address) will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there for 14 months. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services related to website activity and site usage. In addition, Google may transfer this information to third parties and/or to third countries, such as US authorities, insofar as this is legally required or insofar as third parties process this data at the behest of Google. If you have agreed to the use of analysis and tracking cookies and would like to revoke your consent at a later date, you can do so at any time in the cookie banner or the cookie settings on our website. Alternatively, you can install a so-called ‘add-on’ in your browser. To do this, you can follow the link below, which will take you to Google’s page: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

YouTube
Our website links to the YouTube website. Operator of these pages is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, a subsidiary of Google LLC.

For data privacy reasons, we have decided only to establish a link to this page instead of using YouTube plug-ins. Therefore, we do not process any personal data from you in this regard, and YouTube cannot automatically collect any personal data from you when you visit our website, provided you are logged out of your YouTube account when you visit our website. This technical solution allows you to decide whether and when you transmit personal data to YouTube. Only if you actively click the YouTube button does your browser establish a connection to the YouTube servers and transmit your user data to YouTube. YouTube will forward the information processed to third parties, e.g. US authorities, insofar as this is legally required or insofar as third parties process this data at the behest of YouTube. We have no influence on the type and scope of your data which is processed by YouTube.

For additional information about handling user data, see the YouTube data privacy declaration at: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

LinkedIn [if linked]
Our website links to the LinkedIn website. Operator of these pages is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. Instead of using plug-ins, we only link to LinkedIn. Therefore, your personal data is not transmitted automatically to Linked in when you visit our website. With the linking, LinkedIn only processes your personal data if you actively click the LinkedIn button. LinkedIn will forward the information processed to third parties, e.g. US authorities, insofar as this is legally required or insofar as third parties process this data at the behest of LinkedIn. We have no influence on the type and scope of your data that is processed by LinkedIn.

For additional information about the handling of your data, see LinkedIn’s data privacy declaration at: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy?_l=de_DE.

OpenStreetMap
We incorporate the map material from OpenStreetMap on the server of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, Great Britain. Great Britain is considered a safe third country in terms of data privacy. This means that Great Britain has a level of data privacy equivalent to that in the European Union. When using OpenStreetMap maps, a connection is established to the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation. Your IP address and other information about your behaviour on this website may be forwarded to the OSMF. To do this, OpenStreetMap may store cookies in your browser or use similar recognition technologies.

For additional information about the handling of your data, see OpenStreetMap at: https://osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_PolicyMap Foundation

Data privacy when processing the personal data of our business partners (customers/suppliers; B2B)

As a contractual partner of the company you work for or for which you act, we process your personal data based on our legitimate interest in preparing offers and fulfilling planned or existing contracts, as well as on the basis of the proper and required processing of customer relationships. Processing for the purposes of bookkeeping and cost accounting as well as for the fulfilment of legal obligations (e.g. commercial and tax law) is based on these legal obligations. The business relationship exists between us and the company you work for or for which you act. If you are acting as a natural person (e.g. as a solitary trader or independent contractor), your data will be processed for the purpose of implementing pre-contractual measures and for the fulfillment of contracts.

In the course of external requirements (e.g. in the context of customs/tax law), your personal data may be compared with lists published by authorities.

Furthermore, data may also be processed for other overriding interests, such as marketing, internal market research and marketing purposes, and internal company statistics. Our legitimate interests lie in particular in the optimisation of processes and cost-effective accounting; of course, your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms will be examined and taken into account on a case-by-case basis.

Only if you have given us your consent to do so or if we have adequately informed you as part of the data collection in accordance with § 7 UWG (DE)/§ 174 TKG (AT)/Art. 3 lit. o UWG (CH) will we use your data to send you information about products, services, events and other interesting facts about our company. You can revoke your consent to this at any time with future effect.

The data you have provided is required for the fulfilment of the contractual relationship. Without this data, we cannot fulfil the contract concluded with your company.

In the protected area of our website, you can log in using your personal ID. Logging for the purposes specified above takes place as described in the “Website Data Privacy Declaration”.

We reserve the right to subsequently review this data if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use. The data will be deleted immediately if it is no longer required to achieve the purpose, but no later than six months after collection.

Forwarding
Your personal data may be passed on to external parties (e.g. transport companies, tax consultants, legal advisers) if there is a corresponding legal basis for doing so. In addition, external service providers (e.g. IT service providers, cloud computing applications, hosting, call centres) may access your data as part of order processing. The service providers act in accordance with instructions, which has been ensured by appropriate contracts.

Storage and deletion of data
Your data will be kept as long as is required for the purposes described above. The data will be deleted at the latest after termination of the contractual relationship and after expiry of the statutory retention periods under civil, commercial and tax law.

Data privacy in the context of application procedures

We process this personal data with regard to you in connection with your application process and to check your potential work-related employability. We process the data you provide for the purpose of making an informed decision regarding personnel based on the initiation of an employment or service contract. In addition, evaluations using objective, non-discriminatory criteria are also saved; insofar as this is permissible in an individual case, publicly available data about your person is also saved.

The data you have provided is required to process your application. Without this data, we cannot consider your application.

Service providers
Your personal data may be passed on to external parties (e.g. legal advisers) if there is a legal basis for doing so. In addition, external service providers (e.g. IT service providers, cloud computing applications, hosting, call centres) may access your data as part of order processing. The service providers act in accordance with instructions, which has been ensured by appropriate contracts.

Transfer to other companies in the group
We will only pass on your personal data to other companies in our group of companies if you have given us your consent to do so, in order to provide you with further options in our group of companies.

Storage and deletion of data
Your data will be kept as long as is required for the purposes of the personnel selection process described above. If you object to data processing during the personnel selection process, the data – insofar as no other legal retention obligations speak against this – will be deleted.

The data will be deleted after the completion of the application process and after expiration of any period for filing suit unless you have given your consent to store your application for additional job offers. Applications at your own initiative are saved and deleted until you revoke your consent or for up to two years.
