K Show and Open House 2025

20. October 2025 – At K 2025 in Düsseldorf, BB Engineering showcased its technologies for extrusion, filtration, and PET recycling at a joint booth with its parent company, Barmag. Highlights of BB Engineering’s trade show presentation included high-performance single-screw extruders with screw diameters ranging from 30 to 360 mm, the new COBRA filter, and the VacuFil recycling solution featuring the Visco⁺ LSP unit.

In conjunction with the trade show, BB Engineering held an open house at its technical center in Remscheid on October 10 and 13, 2025. The event drew significant interest on both days and offered prospective customers the opportunity to experience the VacuFil recycling plant and other technologies in the fields of extrusion, filtration, and texturing firsthand. The entire process chain — from PET waste to processed recycled yarn (POY) — was clearly demonstrated.

The program was rounded out by technical presentations by Ralf Morgenroth and Matthias Schmitz, as well as guided tours of the technical center and the assembly hall. This gave visitors the opportunity to speak directly with the experts on site.
